Jenn TranThe season of took a spicy turn tonight as two contestants vied for coveted one-on-one time with the first Asian-American Bachelorette.

We are currently in week 2 of The Bachelorette Season 21 and another first for the franchise: The cast went on tour for a travel episode. Jenn and all 18 remaining men headed to beautiful Melbourne, Australia (which we probably all pronounced wrong).

Tempers flared on the first group date after Devin, the freight driver from Houston, kidnapped Jenn for a private ice cream. The bold move didn’t sit well with some of the guys, but Aaron, the aerospace engineer from Oklahoma, took Devin’s move personally – eventually confronting him and accusing him of “childish behavior.”

“She doesn’t want to be with a boy,” Aaron told Devin in a heated moment.

Only time will tell if Devin, who is said to be the favorite for the final rose, is “wasting Jenn’s time” (more words from Aaron) or just doing what the doctor’s assistant ordered.

Who got Jenn’s first group date rose tonight?

Sam N., Marvin, Brian, JonathanAaron, JeremyDevin and Grant were selected for the first group date with Jenn tonight.

Participants joined them on a market tour in Melbourne, tried the popular Australian dish Vegemite (the group decided it tasted like peanut butter with soy sauce!) and drank whiskey shots with a surprise ingredient. After they had consumed them all, the bartender told them they had just eaten kangaroo testicles!

They then went to a store, where Devin bravely pulled Jenn away from the others and bought her an ice cream. Angry admirers soon followed.

Aaron fumed in front of the cameras: “Devin is embarrassing himself.”

When the group arrived at the Melbourne Comedy Festival, the joke was at the expense of the contestants, who were given 10 minutes to think of jokes that they would each perform in front of Jenn and the comedy club audience.

After Devin’s stunt got Jenn away from the group date, he became a bit of a target. The set could have been called “The Roast of Devin.”

“You look like the budget Pete Davidsonwhich means you look like him, just without the (expletive) sense of humor,” Aaron said, comparing Devin to the Saturday Night Live Star.

Later, the after-party developed into a tug of war War Jenn, when Aaron and Devin stole Jenn from each other.

As Aaron was initially spending his private time with Jenn, he was interrupted by Devin, who took a cart of ice cream from her.

Jeremy advised a frustrated Aaron to go in and steal Jenn back, which he did.

But Devin soon came back and stole Aaron Jenn again!

They eventually kissed and Devin said on camera that he was “excited” while Aaron was “pissed off.”

While Aaron and Devin vied for attention, Grant and Jenn enjoyed their time together.

Grant told her he was ready to settle down and wanted to be a father the kids would run to when he came home from work.

“Kissing Jenn feels like kissing the woman I’m going to marry,” he said on camera after kissing Jenn.

At the end of the date, neither Aaron nor Devin received the date rose! The attractive day trader Grant received the first group date rose of the evening.

Who got Jenn’s first one-on-one date?

Army Ranger Veteran Marcus Was The Bachelorette‘s choice for a first one-on-one date. Their skydiving date took Jenn miles out of her comfort zone.

Falling out of an airplane at an altitude of 4,500 meters gave her terrible fear, but Marcus, an experienced jumper, gave her a good feeling and both completed the tandem jumps with instructors.

Jenn was thrilled. She hugged and kissed Marcus and said she loved his “calm energy.”

At dinner, Marcus admitted that he had not always been so confident.

He explained that he was seriously injured in a firefight while deployed in Afghanistan: “A grenade was thrown into a room… that changed my life.”

Marcus told Jenn that he spent a few months in a US hospital where he “breathed through a tube, was hooked up to machines” and had to “learn to walk again”.

He played on emotions and let tears flow from his eyes. Jenn told him it was okay to cry.

She gave him her rose for a private date and they kissed.

“I could imagine a future with Marcus,” Jenn said in the confessional.

How did Jenn’s second group date go?

The rest of the men and the beauty headed to the outback for a photo shoot with Australian animals.

But only one guy would get a private dinner later.

After Jenn was photographed with a koala, Sam M. posed with a monitor lizard and Spencer with an owl.

When Jenn didn’t want to touch a snake, Dylan helped her and she chose him for their time together.

At dinner, Dylan noticed her “calming energy.” Jenn told him that she had never had a partner who stood up for her. Dylan said that his parents had married after only knowing each other for six months.

The handsome man, who wants to be a doctor, said he doesn’t fit in there, commenting: “I see a lot of myself in Dylan.”

She gave him the date rose and they kissed.

What else happened in the fight between Aaron and Devin?

Back at the hotel, Aaron took Devin aside and told him that he had been arrogant earlier and that “it was rubbing off on the other guys in the house.”

Devin blamed Aaron for calling him by the wrong name earlier. (He had called him Dylan earlier, apparently to sneakily annoy Devin.)

“I think you are a tyrant,” Aaron told his rival.

He also gave Devin a psychology book to read – called Principles for personal growth.

Devin freaked out at the cameras: “I’m here because of Jenn! Stupid book!”

What happened at the cocktail party?

When Jenn arrived, Devin immediately kidnapped her, causing Thomas N. to freak out. Grant remarked, “Devin has balls.”

Devin warned Jenn that chaos could erupt, but told her he was tired of hiding his identity to make other people happy.

Jenn found it “refreshing” that Devin could be himself.

Thomas N. decided to interrupt them. He took Devin aside and rebuked him for promising him and the others that he would spend time with Jenn and then claiming her for himself.

Thomas N. explained to Jenn that Devin had broken his agreement, but she sighed, “You make decisions for me,” and pointed out that she had been sitting there alone for ten minutes during the argument.

Thomas N. admitted in front of the cameras: “I messed it up.”

Devin told Thomas N. that he had embarrassed himself and his rival replied: “Fuck off!”

When both became heated, host Jesse Palmer seemed to end the cocktail party.

Who received roses at the rose ceremony tonight?

While Grant, Marcus and Dylan already had date roses in their hands, Jenn chose the remaining boys who should stay: Austin, Hakeem, Spencer, Jeremy, Jonathon, John, Tomas A., Sam M., Devin, Sam N., Aaron and Thomas N.
