All Elite Wrestling announces major event at Globe Life Field

A massive night of professional wrestling takes place in North Texas.

All Elite Wrestling CEO and General Manager Tony Khan, along with Arlington Mayor Jim Ross and a group of the wrestling promotion’s top stars, announced Thursday that the “All In Texas” pay-per-view event will take place next year at Globe Life Field.

The event is scheduled to take place on July 12, 2025. It will be the first U.S. stadium event in the company’s history.

Since AEW’s founding in 2019, Khan has made Dallas-Fort Worth a regular stop on his tour schedule, holding events at the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland and the College Park Center at UT-Arlington.

Most recently, Esports Stadium Arlington hosted weeks of shows as part of the “AEW: Path To All In Summer Series” leading up to this year’s “All In” event, AEW’s second appearance at Wembley Stadium in London, England, on Sunday, August 25.

A year ago, “All In” in London attracted 72,265 fans, making it one of the best-attended events in the history of professional wrestling.

Like AEW’s shows in London, the 2025 event in Arlington is expected to attract tens of thousands of visitors from around the world to Globe Life Field, creating a significant economic impact for the region.

Country music star Morgan Wallen holds the attendance record at Globe Life Field when 43,598 people came to see his performance in 2022. Games 1 and 2 of the 2023 World Series drew 42,472 and 42,500 fans, respectively.

When reports emerged that a “stadium show” might take place in North Texas, some eyes turned to AT&T Stadium, which hosted WrestleMania, the coveted WWE showcase, in 2016 and 2022.

However, during a conference call with the media ahead of the Ring of Honor pay-per-view event held in Arlington last month, Khan made a comment about the collaboration between TruMedia Networks, which he owns, and the Texas Rangers, which may have contributed to the selection of Globe Life Field as a possible future location for AEW.

Now the stage is set for the home of the reigning World Series champion to make another entry in the history books together with AEW.

Thanks to the return to Texas, Kevin Von Erich’s latest Iron Claw might not be his last
