Kelly Brook from BBC Celebrity Race Across the World surprises fans with name reveal

Fans of Celebrity Race Across The World were shocked when Kelly Brook revealed her real name on the show. The model, who competes with her husband Jeremy Parisi, was planning her next move from Brazil when she revealed to viewers that “Kelly Brook” is not her real name.

Instead, Kelly Brook was born Kelly Anne Parsons. She adopted the surname Brook during her modeling career, reports the Mirror.

Although she is widely known by that name, she clarified that that name was never on her passport. On the BBC show this week, Kelly said: “My happy place is my garden in wellies, no make-up, hair up. Considering I was like a pin-up and I make calendars, it’s all just an illusion, like that’s not who I am at all.”

Even more shocking is Kelly’s statement that Kelly Brook “doesn’t exist,” such is the illusion she has created throughout her career. She said: “Kelly Brook doesn’t actually exist, it’s not even a real name, it wasn’t even on my passport or anything. In my mind I’m Mrs. Parisi, Jeremy’s wife.”

Kelly and her husband Jeremy are among the famous faces taking part in the 2024 edition of Celebrity Race Across The World. Other participants in the series include Jeff Brazier with his son Freddy, Kola Bokinni from Ted Lasso and his cousin Mary Ellen, and BBC Radio 2’s Scott Mills and his husband Sam.

This season’s route is more extensive than the first, which covered 10,000 km from Morocco to Norway. This time, competitors will start in Belem in northern Brazil, the entrance to the Amazon, and pass through five checkpoints in South America before arriving in Frutillar in the Andes in southern Chile.
