“So stupid!” Megyn Kelly criticizes Trump over Kamala Harris’ obsession with crowd size

Journalist and political commentator Megyn Kelly, who hosted Fox News from 2004 to 2017, has criticized former President Donald Trump for his obsession with conspiracy theories about crowd sizes.

As reported by MediatKelly made the remarks on her SiriusXM radio show, where she read off recent poll results favoring Vice President Kamala Harris in the upcoming presidential election. Kelly said the polls “are not going in the right direction for Team Trump.”

“Look, that’s the case everywhere. He’s fallen in polls that lean left, he’s fallen in polls that lean right,” the former NBC anchor and correspondent explained. “That’s the reality, and the Trump team has to deal with the reality if they want to win.”

Matt Welch, editor-in-chief of Reason Magazine, added sarcastically: “If Trump spends any more time complaining about the portrayal of crowds at Kamala Harris rallies, it will ensure his victory. It will give him voters in swing states.”

A frustrated Kelly responded: “So unintelligent. So stupid! If you’re listening, dear audience, he (Trump) is claiming that the crowds, the large crowds in front of her (Harris) plane and elsewhere, are generated by AI, and there’s just no evidence of that.”

She continued: “I mean, it was a conspiracy theory that someone put out there. There were all these other pictures of people who were actually there and the huge… are they all in there? So everyone who was there had an AI filter on? So stupid. Just focus on the damn border!”

Welch said Trump had “gone crazy” in recent weeks.

“There were whole periods where his campaign was disciplined and smart, including staying away from cameras and things like that when that made sense,” he explained. “But in the last few weeks, that just hasn’t been the case, and he’s really reminding people of the reasons why he hasn’t shown so much as 47% of the vote in this country.”
