Fortnite is often dismissed as a children’s game. Sure, the colorful graphics, dance emotes, and cartoonish violence make it seem like a playground for younger audiences.
But while the series may seem lighthearted and playful on the surface, that doesn’t mean it shies away from some pretty dark and twisted details, as evidenced by a revelation in Chapter 5, Season 4, featuring none other than Marvel’s legendary Dr. Doom.
Fortnite seals a hero’s grim fate in stone
The Battle Royale has been focusing on its Marvel collaborations for some time now, and the current season is no exception.
Fans before Theory that the Wanderer is Dr. Doomand the next trailer for the next season may have just confirmed this, while also putting the menacing villain at the center of the update.
However, there is one detail that everyone is talking about, and it’s a sinister one. Players have noticed something absolutely creepy about his throne in the upcoming update.
Not only the color scheme, but also the fabric draped over the throne looks familiar.

That’s right, it’s The Thing. It seems the two had a terrible clash, and Doom decided to celebrate the victory by sitting on the remains of his old rival.
Although it’s a bit weird considering how it sits on his lap. Next time someone tells you that Battle Royale is just a kid’s game, feel free to mention this neat little detail.

People are hilariously calling for the hero to be put back together. There is still a chance he will be resurrected in some mythical way.
At the moment it looks like he will have to keep the chairmanship from someone else.
