The Radames Lopez Little League is making its second appearance in the World Series after dominating the Puerto Rico region tournament with a 7-0 record. Radames Lopez last qualified for the tournament in 2018 and this year’s appearance marks the 13th time a Puerto Rico team has participated in the LLBWS.
For the first time, the Johoku Little League has qualified for the LLBWS. It is the 33rd time that a team from Japan has participated in the international tournament, and this year’s group of Little Leaguers hopes to win the international championship title for the 12th time.
