Kelly Kelly reveals why Vince McMahon refused to stay heel

Kelly Kelly, who rose to prominence in WWE’s Women’s Division in the company’s ECW division, becoming the Women’s Champion during her reign, has been a babyface her entire life and has now revealed why Vince McMahon refused to turn the tables on her.

Since retiring from full-time competitive wrestling, Kelly has made occasional appearances for WWE. She has competed in three Women’s Royal Rumble matches, with her most recent appearance being in 2022. Additionally, she participated in a battle royal at the all-women’s pay-per-view Evolution in 2018.

Speaking to WrestlingNews, Kelly Kelly recalled the time she asked Vince McMahon if she wanted to become a villain. However, when he asked to see her “bad guy face,” Kelly laughed instead. This led to Vince McMahon refusing to make Kelly Kelly a villain, stating that she would remain a babyface forever.

“Being a heel? Yeah. I think I’ve told that story before too. I tried to ask Vince, ‘Hey, I really feel like I could, you know, I want to try being a heel,’ and he was like, ‘Show me your bad guy face,’ and I just started laughing. And he was like, ‘No, you’re going to be a babyface forever.’ So, I don’t know, maybe that’s why they changed it, who knows.”

Kelly Kelly also made it clear that she would love to return to WWE under Triple H. Still, many fans believe that Kelly Kelly made the right decision to remain a babyface throughout her career and that is all that matters to her.
