Smoke from wildfires will still be visible in the sky this morning, making visibility hazy. A mix of sun and clouds is expected today, limiting temperatures inland to just above 27 degrees Celsius, while a sea breeze develops on the beaches. There may be isolated showers and thunderstorms this afternoon, mainly between 3pm and 7pm, and some may bring brief periods of heavy rain, thunder and lightning, and gusty winds. Keep an eye on the weather if you plan to be outdoors this afternoon.

A noticeably wetter night is expected as humidity increases throughout the weekend. Increasing sunshine is expected on Friday, with temperatures just above 27 degrees. A slowly approaching front from the west looks set to delay our wet weather this weekend, so Saturday will be mostly dry, with the chance of a few showers increasing later on Sunday into Monday.
