The White Sox stadium is a hit for animals – and PETA is taking notice. The organization has just “Guaranteed interest rate” field one of the most vegan-friendly baseball stadiums in North America thanks to its vegan takes on classic stadium fare, including delicious vegan burgers and hot dogs, crispy chicken tenders, and Buenos Nachos’ delicious spicy plant-based chorizo.
“From meatless burgers and hot dogs with all the trimmings to vegan chorizo, Guaranteed Rate Field’s vegan offerings will leave White Sox fans wanting more,” said PETA President Ingrid Newkirk. “All of the stadiums on PETA’s list are hit it out of the park with food that leaves the animals alone – and not cut into pieces.”
Other top baseball stadiums recognized by PETA include the Atlanta Braves’ Truist Park, the Colorado Rockies’ Coors Field, the New York Mets’ Citi Field, the New York Yankees’ Yankee Stadium, the Philadelphia Phillies’ Citizens Bank Park, the San Francisco Giants’ Oracle Park, the Seattle Mariners’ T-Mobile Park, the Texas Rangers’ Globe Life Field, the Toronto Blue Jays’ Rogers Centre, and the Washington Nationals’ Nationals Park.
Every person who goes vegan saves nearly 200 animals from daily suffering and a terrible death each year and reduces their own risk of heart disease and cancer. PETA’s free vegan starter kit can help anyone who wants to make the switch.
PETA—whose motto includes, “Animals are not meant to be eaten”—points out that every animal is someone and offers free empathy kits for people who need a lesson in kindness. For more information, visit PETA.org or follow the group on X, on facebook.or Instagram.
