Park City Mountain announces opening date and season plans for 2024-25

Park City Mountain has announced that, conditions permitting, it will open for the 2024-25 season on Friday, November 22.

Park City Mountain is planning an “enhanced” start to the season thanks to new investments in snowmaking technology on the popular Chicane and Another World slopes.

They have also announced several events to look forward to including Opening Day, Tree Lighting in Canyons Village, Santa Comes Down on the Town Lift, Mountain Village Torchlight Parade, New Year’s Eve in Canyons Village, Queerski, Women’s Weekend, and Pond Skim. Skiers and snowboarders have until September 2 to purchase an Epic Pass before prices go up.

Epic Day Ticket (starting at $73-$95 per day) offers skiers and snowboarders the ability to build their own pass by selecting one to seven days during the season. Skiing and snowboarding at Park City Mountain is just $95 per day. Epic Day Passes give you the flexibility to visit additional ski resorts such as Vail Mountain (starting at $95 per day), Keystone and Crested Butte (starting at $73 per day).

The Epic Local Pass ($746) offers season-long access to Park City Mountain, plus unlimited, full access to 29 resorts, including Breckenridge, Keystone, and Crested Butte. Epic Local Pass holders also receive 10 combined days of access to Vail Mountain and Beaver Creek (excluding peak periods).

The Epic Pass ($1,004) offers unlimited, unrestricted access to Park City Mountain, as well as access to more than 80 resorts worldwide.

Specialty passes are available, including for active and retired military members and their dependents ($177), veterans and their dependents ($573), college members ($675), and adaptive passes ($492), which offer discounted access to 42 resorts.

Epic Passes also allow you to save on other aspects of the resort experience. The passes come with Epic Mountain Rewards, which offer exclusive discounts including 20% ​​off on-mountain food and beverage, lodging, group ski and snowboard lessons, gear rentals and more—all winter long.

My Epic Gear offers access to more than 60 of the latest ski and snowboard models from 13 leading brands. The membership experience, from gear selection to free daily pickup and drop-off at the slopes, is available in the My Epic app.

Memberships are limited for the 2024-25 winter season and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. My Epic Gear is available for the whole family (ages 3 and up) at Park City Mountain, Vail Mountain, Whistler Blackcomb, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone, Crested Butte, Heavenly, Northstar, Stowe, Okemo and Mount Snow. Memberships are $50 for the 2024-25 season, with a daily use fee of $55 for adults and $45 for children (3-12).

Skiers and snowboarders who purchase an Epic Pass now will receive early access to Vail Resorts’ Winter Getaway Sale, which for a limited time offers discounted room rates at Park City Mountain’s Canyons Village base area at the Grand Summit Hotel (a RockResort), Lift Park City, Sundial Lodge and Silverado Lodge, as well as hotels and condos at other Vail Resorts locations. Epic Mountain Rewards allows passholders to save up to 35% on room rates. Passholders can book preferred accommodations starting August 22 by logging into their Epic Pass account and selecting the sale. Public access will be available online from August 27 through September 3.
