Para Todos Waco hosts its first Latina Day conference

WACO, Texas (KXXV) — Waco’s first-ever Latina Day is happening this Saturday and Sunday.

Para Todos Waco hosts the Latina Day Conference at Cultivate Twelve – the conference is an opportunity for women in the Waco community to feel empowered.

TRANSCRIPT OF THE MESSAGE:

“I want to be around other women who give me strength, who look like me and who have a similar story to me,” says Jessica Moreno Gonzales, founder of Para Todos Waco.

Para Todos Waco is a nonprofit organization that helps Latinos in the community with their small businesses.

The organization is hosting its first-ever Latina Day conference – an opportunity for women from the Waco community to come together and hear Latina leaders from our community speak about education, beauty, fitness and entrepreneurship.

“I hope they leave inspired. If they have an idea or a dream that they may have been thinking about and maybe didn’t have support at home or in their usual environment, then I hope they find a place that inspires them,” said Moreno Gonzales.

The conference takes place on Saturday and Sunday and participants do not have to be Latina to attend.

Tickets are on sale for Saturday and admission is free on Sunday – for more information click here.
