LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy finally brings one of the best ideas from Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker to star Wars to a more meaningful screen. Rebuild the galaxy is certainly a fascinating addition to star Wars movies and TV shows. Although it is not canon, the four-part miniseries will explore a number of stories from around the world star Wars Timeline that have so far remained fan theories or have never been seen before in the franchise.

One of the most popular theories that comes to life in Rebuild the galaxy is the Darth Jar Jar theory, which, as the name suggests, is the idea that Jar Jar Binks was a Sith Lord all along. Interestingly, Rebuild the galaxyAhmed Best will reprise his role as Jar Jar Binks and star Wars Legend Mark Hamill will return to the franchise to voice Luke Skywalker. LEGO Star Wars brings Dark Rey to life

As from the Rebuild the galaxy Trailer, Dark Rey returns to the star Wars Screen. This move makes sense, as the miniseries seems to be based on the idea that the universe has been turned upside down. In fact, the trailer explains that a new galaxy has been created – and it seems to be full of opposites. While that means new additions like Darth Jar Jar and Ewok bounty hunters, it also means the return of Sith Rey.

Although the trailer only offers a brief glimpse of Sith Rey, this represents amazing potential for the upcoming miniseries. Unfortunately, the sequels are still considered Star Wars’ worst movies, and Rey (and actress Daisy Ridley) continue to receive criticism in the franchise. With that in mind, Rebuild the galaxy could even improve the reception of the sequels to some extent.

The Rise of Skywalker completely missed this opportunity

Unfortunately, although Sith Rey appeared in The Rise of Skywalkerthis was largely a missed opportunity. Sith Rey was barely on screen, and she really only appeared to Rey as a vision of what could be if she allowed the darkness to consume her. This was a real shame, because both her stylization and her potential for the sequel trilogy were exciting.

Both their stylization and their potential for the sequel trilogy story were exciting.

star Wars has introduced a number of Sith over the years, but Dark Rey seemed to be something truly unique in the franchise. For one, she had terrifyingly sharp, almost bestial teeth. For another, as a descendant of none other than Palpatine, if she had joined the dark side, her power would no doubt have been enormous. This would also have deviated from the story arc of the original trilogy that the sequels followed so closely; this story could have seen the hero truly fall.

While unfortunately star Wars Canon eventually abandoned this story, Rebuild the galaxy has the potential to make this character what she could have been in the sequels. Of course, it remains to be seen how big the role of Dark Rey will be. Nevertheless, LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy will undoubtedly be full of experimental, exciting story arcs, and “Sith Rey” is certainly one of them.
