George Clooney didn’t mince his words when he recalled working with a “pathetic shitty Hollywood director” who, according to him, made filming unbearable.

In a joint cover story for GQ with his pal Brad Pitt, Clooney attacked “Three Kings” director David O. Russell, saying he “made life hell” for him and “everyone on the crew” on set.

In the interview, 63-year-old Clooney said that as he gets older, he prioritizes his roles differently. He now only wants to work with “people who like what they do.”

“The older you get, the different your time management is,” he told the publication.

“Five months of your life is a lot. And so it’s not like I’m going to say, ‘Oh, I’m going to make a really good movie like ‘Three Kings’ and then I’m going to have some miserable bastard like David O’Russell make my life hell. Make everyone on the crew’s life hell.’

“It’s not worth it,” he continued. “Not at this point in my life. Just to have a good product.”

The Post has reached out to Russell’s representative for comment.

The “Gravity” actor’s long-standing feud with the “American Hustle” director has been public knowledge for decades.

After fighting tooth and nail for the lead role in the black heist comedy, the relationship quickly turned sour for Clooney.

In a 2000 interview with Playboy, Clooney claimed that the director yelled at people “all day, from day one,” adding that filming was “truly, without exception, the worst experience of my life.”

In the interview, Clooney said he wrote Russell a letter telling him to calm down for the sake of the film.

Elsewhere, the actor claimed that Russell became violent during a stunt, but the director denied the claim in 2004.

Clooney likes to speak openly about his experiences in Hollywood.

The actor, who has two children with wife Amal Clooney, had previously made similar comments about the 1997 film “Batman & Robin,” saying there were “not enough drugs in the world” to make him want to play the character again.

“As you know, there’s been so much clamor for me to come back as Batman. Why are you making that face? I’ve seen that face,” he told ET in December 2023.

“I actually asked, ‘Where are my rubber nipples?’ And they said, ‘Can we do it without the rubber nipples?’ I said, ‘Well, that’s not really my Batman, is it?'”
