However, he revealed that his gut feeling told him not to continue this season after a grueling seventh season. He was in and out of rehab and felt that he had given the show his all for seven seasons.

It’s a lot of money. And I said, “I don’t know, guys. My gut tells me that if I go back, it’s going to go horribly wrong.” I actually said that, and they said, “Well, I can go back fantastically.” I said, “Yeah, but that’s not the message my gut tells me.”

So did I manifest this or did I just get a signal from the future? Maybe it was time. So, are you backing out? No! We made the new deal and everyone was happy, and then everything went horribly. Everything went horribly.

Sheen also revealed his personal problems at the time, saying that during the run of the series, he went through two divorces and had four children. The personal problems distracted the actor, which led him to quit.

However, his manager and one of his agents were completely against the idea, saying he had many more stories to tell. Sheen shared that it may have been greed that motivated his team.
