CBRE has promoted Kelly Conaway to Managing Director for the Greater Philadelphia region, an area that includes downtown and suburban Philadelphia, Delaware, Southern New Jersey, the Lehigh Valley and Central Pennsylvania.

In the new position, Conaway has assumed a leadership role for the region and will drive growth strategy for all businesses in the firm’s Advisory and Transaction Services group. Previously leading the Northeast marketing department for nearly two decades, she will now work under Rija Bears, CBRE’s Greater Philadelphia Market Leader, and collaborate alongside Managing Director Diane Weinberg.

“During her tenure at CBRE, Kelly has received recognition and praise for her strategic leadership and has risen to the role of Director of Marketing for the Northeast,” said Beares. “As a director, she has supported business development, existing client management and brand extension to deliver exceptional results for our clients. In addition, her strong focus on driving revenue growth and market share makes this move a natural progression.”

Conaway began her career as a business development and marketing director at various architectural firms, a press release said. She currently serves as a mentor in CBRE’s EMPOWER and EMERGE mentoring programs, the company said, adding that she is also active in the CBRE Women’s Network and Black Excellence, among other programs.
