Just a 21st century girl with 19th century problems…

When Sam’s plane crashes over the Atlantic, it’s unlikely that Sam will be the only survivor. But it seems impossible that she will be rescued by a warship in 1805. With a dashing captain as her guide, she begins to find her feet in a world she’s only ever seen in the movies.

Then Sam is betrayed. At the mercy of the men and morals of her time, with no way to survive on her own, she has no choice but to rely on the charity of the captain’s sisters. She is content to live a quiet life, hiding her true self forever. What she doesn’t expect, however, is that her new landlady is Margaret Goodenough – the world-famous author whose as-yet-unfinished novel will contain the first lesbian kiss in the history of British literature, and a clever woman. Clever enough to know that her new companion has a secret.

As the two women grow closer, Sam must walk a fine line: on the one hand, she tries to find her own happiness in a place where she feels she will never fit, and on the other, she tries to possibly (accidentally) change the course of history. (From W by Wattpad Books)
