KALAMAZOO, MI –– Under the scorching sun on Monday, August 12, high school students from across the Kalamazoo area took to the football field for the first day of practice.
The helmets are on and the anticipation for the 2024 football season is high. The players have been preparing for the rigors of two games a day all summer long.
Their first week games are circled on the calendar.
MLive was on site to capture the action on and off the field as football season began.
