Current Olympic silver medalists Taliqua Clancy and Mariafe Artacho del Solar are only one win away from returning to the beach volleyball final, with the Stingers in a water polo semi-final and Men’s and women’s K4 kayak teams both at the same stage.
Kurtis Mathews is in the final of the men’s 3-meter springboard, and Nia Jerwood and Conor Nicholas will take part in the medal race in the mixed dinghy.
Australia has secured two medals in boxing – and there are high hopes for the country’s first Olympic gold – with Charlie Sr. And Caitlin Parker both in the semifinals.
