Kelly Kelly on Triple H and a WWE return: “I would love to come back and work for him” – PWMania

Barbie Blank, known to WWE fans as Kelly Kelly, recently appeared on WrestlingNews.co for an in-depth interview about all things pro wrestling. During the conversation, Blank opened up about her marriage to Joe Coba and motherhood:

“Everything is wonderful. The twins are almost a year old, I can’t believe it. We’re almost done planning their first birthday. Time flies. I feel like it was just last year, two years ago, that we were trying to start a family, and now the twins are a year old. It’s been an incredible journey. And you know, married life is stronger than ever, in my opinion. Children can really make you or break you. You either become stronger, you know, God, but we’ve managed to really figure out the whole thing and the parenting thing, and we, you know, it’s just incredible.”

Clarification about what her husband does for a living (he is not a bodybuilder):

“Everyone thinks that. But no, he’s an engineer. He just got his master’s degree from USC and he’s a doer. When people call him a bodybuilder, he says: No, I have my life together.”

On Liv Morgan’s heel run:

“I think it’s cool what they’re doing with Liv (Morgan) right now. She was such a big babyface and they turned their back on her and decided to see how it goes for her.”

When asked if she saw SummerSlam:

“I did. I watched the girls’ match, both of them. I didn’t see the end, but, yeah, I mean, I love what they’re doing. I love the product and watching what the girls are doing. I like keeping up with the women, you know.”

The Triple H era and the positive atmosphere behind the scenes at WWE:

“I didn’t really work under Triple H when I was there. Vince was still there… I worked with Hunter when Hunter came back and did some wrestling. I’ve come back now for the Rumbles and stuff since Hunter – and it’s cool to see him just take over and, you know, it’s been cool.”

On WWE Raw moving to Netflix in January:

“I think it’s huge. I’m excited because I feel like we’re going to go back to the PG-13 era as well. They’re going to be able to do a lot more with that. I just think Netflix and Hulu are the new kind of future. So I think it’s really smart of them to do that and hopefully they add even more shows and other things. I think it would be really cool to see what they’re going to do with that.”

When she imagines acting in films and television shows:

“Yeah. I mean, I love filming and stuff like that… showing my personal life, so, you know, that’s really fun. I have a lot of fun doing it. I think it would be really cool to do something with the twins or my husband. I think that would be really fun. We’ve actually reached out to a couple of networks and suggested a couple of things, but, you know, I don’t know. My husband is like, I don’t know, baby.”

Blank continued, “I love ensemble casts. I would love to do something with other women, you know, like WAGS, because that was fun when you have a group of women because it’s not just based on you. Because that’s why I think there’s, you know, a lot of pressure and stress. That’s why I loved the WAGs show because it was all the girls and we all, like, we had fun doing it.”

About Triple H:

“I love Triple H. We worked together. It was great working with him. I mean, I would love to come back and work for him. He’s great.”

If she wants to return to WWE part-time or full-time:

“I definitely don’t think I could work full time, especially with the twins. And then I talk about wanting another baby, so I don’t know, but I would definitely come back part time. My dream is for my twins to watch me in the ring one day. It was cool, I was sitting here, we were watching SummerSlam and the twins were watching. Like they were… staring with their eyes at it. And I was just like, oh my god, wait until they’re old enough to see their mom… do that and watch their mom. I’m just so excited for them to get old enough to really understand it, you know, but when I saw them, how excited they were, I was just like, oh my god, that’s cool.”
