Barnes & Noble is coming, Harry Potter Store here: Bucks Business Briefs

BUCKS COUNTY, PA — Barnes & Noble is coming to the Doylestown area. An opening date for the bookstore has been announced. Harry Potter fans now have a new reason to rejoice.

Here was some of the economic news from last week in Bucks County:

The Barnes & Noble store under construction in the Barn Plaza on Route 611 in Doylestown Township has an opening date. The national bookseller is targeting Sept. 4 as its grand opening date. The store will open in a brand new 1,050-square-foot space in the heart of Barn Plaza and next to the new Whole Foods store. (Read more about Patch)

The magic of Harry Potter is coming to downtown Doylestown. The city’s newest retail store — Wizarding Ways and More — opened last Saturday at 46 East State St., next to Frost Lounge and across from Rakki Ramen. (Read more about Patch)

After township officials and residents doubted the new Amazon Fresh store on Street Road would ever open, there is now an opening date. The 3,900-square-foot store at 1837 Street Road — Amazon Fresh’s third in Pennsylvania — will open on August 22. (Read more about Patch)
