KANSAS CITY, Missouri (August 13, 2024) – Stony Brook Men’s Soccer Seniors Jonas Bickus has been named to United Soccer Coaches’ preseason forward watch list, the coaching association announced Tuesday.

Bickus was named to the All-CAA second team each of the past two seasons after earning America East Rookie of the Year honors in 2021. The Lithuanian has been Stony Brook’s leading scorer the past two seasons, with six goals in 2022 as a sophomore and eight goals in 2023. Bickus scored a brace in conference wins over Delaware and UNCW in 2023.

Bickus joins Elon’s midfield team Scott VatneDefender of Monmouth Olle Brorsson And Gabe Dahlinalong with the reigning CAA Women’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Year Lauren Bruno from Monmouth, who earned spots on the preseason rosters for those positions announced last week.
