Kelly Ripa from “Live” reveals her “no food” rule before sex with Mark Consuelos: “If we go out to eat and I order more than a decent salad, he gets totally depressed”

Kelly Ripa celebrated her triumphant – albeit pre-recorded – return to Live with Kelly and Mark this morning, and got straight to the point with her “super hot” husband and co-host Mark Consuelos.

During the moderator chat, Rip was tasked with switching from left-handedness to a hotter topic.

“Hide your children,” she joked, “because this article is not for young people. Apparently I’ve been doing it wrong all these years.”

When asked what Ripa did wrong, she read: “They say that to make sex more enjoyable, you have to eat first.”

“You know, I was very strict about not eating before,” she explained. “He knows that if we go out to dinner and I order anything more than a decent salad, he’s totally depressed. He’s depressed. He says, ‘Are you sure you want the burger?’ I say, ‘I’m absolutely sure.'”

Consuelos chimed in and teased: “Dessert?!”

After reiterating that Consuelos was “very sad about this,” Ripa shared that “food and sex are two of life’s greatest pleasures, and science says they taste even better together.”

“It is said that gentle caresses are not as satisfying when you are hungry,” she continued. “There is a gut hormone that drives the motivation to eat, and increased food intake is inextricably linked to feelings of pleasure. That is why it is better to eat before becoming intimate.”

Still, Ripa claimed that she is “still sticking with (her) salad.”

Live with Kelly and Mark is broadcast on weekdays. You can find your local program on the website.
