Garden Witch Life release date set for September, new trailer

SOEDSCO and FreetimeStudio today agreed on a release date for Garden Witch Life, their farming RPG. It will be available for Switch on September 12, 2024.

The title has undergone a fairly rapid development from its announcement on Switch to its release, having originally been confirmed for the platform in May with a release window of 2024.

Everything you need to know can be found in the following overview:

After losing your job, you end up in a small town far from home. As luck would have it, you get to live in an empty witch’s house and start building your new life. Build your own garden, grow plants for your potions and spells, and make friends with the people of the town.

Main features

  • Build your garden: Restore and reinvent an ancient magical garden. Grow special plants and ingredients for magic potions and make it a home for all kinds of creatures and spirits.
  • Mental balance: Have a positive influence on those around you and on yourself. As you settle into your new life and get to know the people around you, they will gradually open up to you.
  • Brewing and Cooking Potions: Pursue your magical research and experiment with brewing potions in a cauldron enclosed by an ancient tree.
  • Improve the House: Work on renovating an old witch’s place. Clean, repair and improve the vacant house and make it your own cozy place.

  • Explore a mysterious history: The island is full of secrets, hidden passages and ancient texts. Explore the past of a destroyed world.
  • Improve your skills and tools: When you start out, your tools won’t necessarily be of high quality and there’s a lot to learn. With time and a little effort, you’ll become an expert and collect equipment you can be proud of.
