Inc. 5000 – Methodology
Companies on the 2024 Inc. 5000 are ranked by percentage revenue growth from 2020 to 2023. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generate revenue by 31 March 2020. They must be based in the United States, privately owned, for-profit and independent – ​​not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies – December 31, 2023(In the meantime, some of the companies on the list may have gone public or been acquired.) The minimum turnover required for 2020 is 100,000 US dollars; the minimum for 2023 is 2 million US dollars. As always, Inc. reserves the right to reject applicants for subjective reasons. The growth rates used to determine the company rankings were calculated to four decimal places.
