In just a few weeks, fans of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter will be able to play Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions. Those with a PlayStation Plus subscription can play the game for free from day one, along with some bonus benefits.

Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions is expected to be released on 3 September 2024for the Digital Standard and Deluxe Editions on Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PS4, PS5 and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.

The game allows players to compete in Quidditch matches as one of four Quidditch player types: Chasers, Seekers, Beaters, and Keepers. Featuring single-player and multiplayer game modes, the game offers a comprehensive Quidditch experience that includes a variety of broomstick adventures and allows players to compete with friends. The game will feature cross-progression and crossplay.

The physical Deluxe Edition will be available a few months later, on November 8, 2024, for PS4 and PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. The Nintendo Switch version, meanwhile, will be released much later this holiday season.

Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions will be part of PlayStation Plus’ September offer. This means that between September 3 and September 30, 2024, PS Plus subscribers at or above the Essentials tier will be able to download and play the game. These players will continue to have access to the game as long as they remain subscribed to PS Plus.

In addition to a free copy of the Standard Edition of Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions, PS Plus players will also receive a free Firebolt Supreme Broom Skin when they download the game in September.

Warner Bros. Games has so far revealed the boards for the three Triwizard Schools. Each Triwizard School will have one board as their home board in the game, one for Beauxbatons, one for Durmstrang and of course one for Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. All three boards will be playable in the game’s Career Mode.
