Inc. Magazine is a New York-based publication owned by Mansueto Ventures, Inc. Inc. Magazine annually produces rankings of the fastest-growing private companies in the United States. The 2024 Inc. 5000 was ranked by percentage revenue growth from 2020 to 2023. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generated revenue by March 31, 2020. They had to be based in the U.S., privately held, for-profit, and independent—not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies—as of December 31, 2023. McAdam provided financial information to Inc. Magazine for award evaluation but did not make or receive any payments in connection with the award. Several of the companies included in this list have gone public or been acquired.
