Kelly Ripa was one of the special guests honored on Sunday at the Disney Legends Awards ceremony during the D23 convention in Anaheim, Calif. Ripa’s contributions to Disney were recognized alongside other Oscar winners such as John Williams, Jamie Lee Curtis and Angela Bassett.

For the occasion, Ripa wore a look from the Michael Kors Collection. The midi dress featured ruffled cap sleeves and an all-over black and white polka dot pattern with a black background and white polka dots. The dress was made of silk georgette. Ripa rounded off her look with white high heels.

During the D23 event, Ripa was honored by former “Live!” co-host Ryan Seacrest. “You are truly the definition of a legend,” Seacrest said in his speech. A video tribute to Ripa also played during the ceremony, with comments from Seacrest and Ripa’s husband and current “Live” co-host Mark Consuelos.

Consuelos sat in the audience with Ripa during the presentation. His attire matched Ripa’s, wearing a tailored suit with a black blazer and slacks, a crisp white button-down shirt and a black tie.

Ripa was one of the many guests who attended the D23 Disney Legends ceremony. Bassett showed up in a matching pink set with matching pants and a strapless top with a royal touch.

Miley Cyrus also attended the event, wearing an Alexander McQueen suit with curved heavy metal embellishments.

The D23 Disney Legends ceremony honored individuals who have made a lasting impact on Disney’s legacy. “The Disney Legends Award is the highest honor our company bestows,” said Disney CEO Bob Iger.

“It is presented as a celebration of talent, a recognition of achievement and, most importantly, a sincere expression of our deep gratitude. Disney Legends are united by the special place they have earned in our history for their tremendous contributions to the entertainment and enjoyment of fans around the world.”

The Disney Legends Awards ceremony can be streamed exclusively on Disney+ on Monday at 5 p.m. ET.
