The sixth edition of the Sharjah International Children’s Film Festival (SICFF 2018) will host the famous Jungle Book actor who played the role of Mowgli. Indian-American Neel Sethi will attend the festival which will take place from October 14 to 19 at the Al Jawaher Reception and Convention Centre (JRCC).
The 14-year-old actor showed off his acting skills in portraying the role and recently described his similarities to Mowgli at another film festival.
“I’m stubborn and I look like him in terms of build, and we have a lot in common,” he said.
SICFF 2018 will feature 138 films selected from a total of 500 films from 31 countries. 54 films from 17 countries will premiere in the Middle East, Gulf and UAE. Participating films cover several categories including Best Feature Film, Best Documentary, Best Animated Film, Best International Short Film, Best Student Film, Best Arabic Short Film and Best Child Film.
