Kit Harington responds to criticism of the final season of Game of Thrones

The successful HBO series game of Thrones is known for its final season, which left many of its fans very disappointed. While Jon Snow actor Kit Harington can understand that season 8 felt rushed, which was a common criticism, he said there was simply no way the series could have been made any longer, even if the writers had wanted to.

Harington thought about his game of Thrones experience in a new interview with GQ Magazine. He suggested that the problem with the final season was that the cast was so exhausted by that point and felt like they were really at the end of their rope. Harington looks back and doubts he would have lasted longer than game of Thrones ultimately with that in mind. Still, he agrees with some of the criticisms of the final season, noting that some of the decisions made at the end “didn’t quite work” as the writers intended.
