It would not be another season of The Bachelorette without a villain. Unfortunately for Devin Strader, he seems to be taking home that title. But what makes Devin so nefarious? Perhaps Devin’s star sign can explain why he is already the villain of The Bachelorette Season 21.

Devin’s true colors showed in week two, right after he kidnapped Jenn on a group date. As expected, the other contestants were not happy. Aaron Erb cut off Devin’s time with Jenn for the rest of the date. Instead of giving in, Devin reciprocated Aaron’s energy. Another contestant, Thomas Nguyen, confronted Devin at the cocktail party in week two. Thankfully, Jenn ended the drama in the middle of the party before the rose ceremony in week two. Much to the chagrin of the others, Devin received a rose and was able to move on to week three.

In week three, most of the men went all out on a group date and took their clothes off. But self-proclaimed lover boy Sam Nejad used this as an opportunity to confess his love. Some men started making fun of Sam N., so naturally Devin stood up for this lovestruck outsider. Despite Devin’s good intentions, this led to another feud with contestant Sam McKinney. Then Sam M.’s animosity toward Devin escalated after Aaron caused a stir before his departure, claiming that some contestants weren’t there for the right reasons.

Week four begins with Sam M. openly expressing how much he dislikes Devin, while Devin takes his hatred off. Although both men get one-on-one dates, it’s not enough to calm the drama. More fighting ensues when Devin and Sam M. are left alone while the others go on a group date. Week five is apparently no different. Devin engages Jenn on a group date, and the group is incredibly upset. After winning the title of “Most Valuable Farmer” on the group date, Devin moves on to week six.
