Lewis recently participated in the Harry Potter panel at MegaCon Orlando. He shared that he would not reprise his role as Neville. But that doesn’t mean he wouldn’t be part of the reboot. He’s intrigued by the idea of playing a different character, especially Professor Lupin.

It will be a challenge to step into the shoes of David Thewlis, who won our hearts as Remus Lupin. Although we won’t see Radcliffe and Watson, Lewis’ willingness to return to the Potter universe is a cause for hope. It’s reassuring for fans that we might still get a glimpse of the beloved original cast in some form.
