The first trailer of the upcoming animated film, Raya and the Last Dragonhas been released online. The film, featuring the voices of Awkwafina as the last dragon and Kelly Marie Tran as Raya, looks exciting. However, the only disappointment with the footage is that we don’t get to see the dragon at all, aside from the silhouettes on the title card. The background music is good. The animation is lovely. It’s another interesting Disney film with a strong female protagonist. The trailer for “Raya and the Last Dragon” is coming soon. The first poster for the animated film by Awkwafina and Kelly Marie Tran looks great.

At some point in the film, it is touched by magic and grows to gigantic size. Raya and the Last Dragon looks like it will be a treat. It will be fun to see it on the big screen. Here is the official synopsis:

Long ago, humans and dragons lived together in harmony in the fantasy world of Kumandra. But when an evil force threatened the land, the dragons sacrificed themselves to save humanity. Now, 500 years later, that same evil has returned and it’s up to a lone warrior, Raya, to track down the legendary last dragon to restore the broken land and its divided people. On her journey, however, she will learn that it takes more than one dragon to save the world – it also takes trust and teamwork.

The animated film has four directors – Don Hall and Carlos López Estrada, Paul Briggs, John Ripa – which is usually a warning sign for a film. But we’re more than happy to give this film a chance when it hits theaters in March 2021.
