NEW YORK, NY — The New York Police Department has asked for the public’s help in locating missing 10-year-old girl Meiyi Pang, who was last seen around 1:06 p.m. Sunday. She disappeared from her apartment on West 37th Street in Manhattan, a district patrolled by the NYPD’s 10th Precinct.

Meiyi is said to weigh about 30 kilograms and have brown hair tied in a ponytail. When she disappeared, she was wearing a pink T-shirt, black shorts and white sneakers.

The NYPD is asking anyone with information on her whereabouts to come forward and help ensure her safe return.

DORCHESTER, MA — Boston Police have arrested a 15-year-old boy for armed robbery. The incident occurred Sunday afternoon around 4:16 p.m. The arrest was made in the Mattapan neighborhood, specifically at 86 Southern Avenue. Responding to a robbery report, officers were informed that several people had attempted to rob a victim of her moped. One suspect made a threatening gesture toward his waistband to indicate that he was armed.

The suspect successfully stole the moped, but crashed shortly after the theft. A second person involved took the victim’s bag. When police arrived, they saw the suspects fleeing the scene and pursued them to the rear of 60 Southern Avenue. During the chase, the arrested juvenile was observed throwing an object over a fence, later identified as a large kitchen knife.

The young man is now accused of armed robbery and will be arraigned in Dorchester District Court.

CUMBERLAND, MD – The Allegany County Sheriff’s Office has reported a significant traffic crash on I-68 eastbound near Greene Street in Cumberland.

A semi-trailer truck overturned, forcing all lanes to be closed. Motorists are asked to use caution as congestion and travel delays may occur.

The public is urged to avoid the area and seek alternative routes to work.
