Yellowstone star Kelly Reilly clears up fan speculation about absence from promo event after tension rumors

Kelly Reilly has given fans an explanation for her absence from a Yellowstone Fan event, although participation was announced.

The actor plays Beth Dutton, the daughter of Kevin Costner’s ranch owner John Dutton III, in the successful western series.

Last month, Reilly was confirmed to appear in an event at PaleyFest, a television festival in Los Angeles that gives fans more direct access to their favorite shows.

Shortly before the event began, an announcement was made indicating that the lineup had changed and Reilly and several others would not be present.

On Sunday (April 30), Reilly posted a photo with Brian Cox from the set of the upcoming drama film. Small wing.

In the comments, a fan questioned her absence from PaleyFest and Reilly took the opportunity to explain.

“I was filming in the UK at the time and told them in January that I couldn’t take part,” Reilly replied. “I’m sorry my name was on the list anyway because it’s unfair to our fans.”

Confirmed cast members alongside Reilly include Kevin Costner, Cole Hauser (Rip Wheeler), Luke Grimes (Kayce), Kelsey Asbille (Monica) and Wes Bentley (Jamie), as well as executive producers Taylor Sheridan and David Glasser.

Instead, the new cast included Keith Cox, President of Scripted at MTV Entertainment Studios, and actors Mo Brings Plenty (Mo), Dawn Olivieri (Sarah Atwood), Josh Lucas (the younger John Dutton) and Wendy Moniz (Lynelle Perry).

The lead actors’ absence followed recent speculation about unrest on set amid claims Costner would step down from his role as head of the Dutton family.

Costner’s lawyer responded to claims that the actor was only willing to work for one week on the second half of the fifth season of Yellowstone in a statement.

Since its launch in 2018 Yellowstone has become one of America’s most-watched drama series and has so far spawned two prequel series: 1883with Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, and 1923starring Helen Mirren and Harrison Ford.
