Wolfeye Studios is an independent game developer founded by former Arkane, Dishonored, and Prey (2017) co-creator Raphael Colantonio. The studio’s first game, 2022’s Weird West, was well received by fans of isometric role-playing games and simulations.

Fast forward to 2024, and the team is ready to announce its next project: a first-person game that blends the sandbox mission design of Dishonored with the RPG aspects of Prey and Bethesda’s Fallout games. The game’s title has yet to be revealed. Raphael Colantonio announced on social media: “Fans of the previous first-person shooters I was involved with (Dishonored and Prey) are in for a treat.”
In a subsequent interview and article about Eurogamerwe learn that the game is a first-person action RPG set in an alternate version of 20th century America. Based on the illustrations and images released so far, the retro sci-fi look delivers on the promise of Dishonored meets Fallout.
3“If there’s a continuum between Fallout and Dishonored, I’d say Prey is somewhere in the middle, because it’s already more RPG than Dishonored, and this new game is somewhere closer to Fallout in terms of RPG nature,” Raphael Colantonio tells Eurogamer.
According to the information released, the world will be open world like Fallout, where you can go anywhere, do anything and kill anyone you want. Missions can be completed using dialogue, action, stealth or a combination of all three. In the Eurogamer article, we learn that Wolfeye Studios now employs a number of experienced developers who worked on the Dishonored series, and that some members of the recently closed Arkane Austin company have also joined the small team.
