Jamie Lynn Spears has left the show “I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!” for “medical reasons.”

The 32-year-old star is the second contestant to leave the ITV show after food critic Grace Dents quit earlier this week for the same reason.

During Tuesday’s episode (28.11.23), Jamie burst into tears several times, although he seemed to have adjusted well to life in the Australian jungle after a difficult start.

A spokesperson for the show said: “Jamie Lynn Spears has left ‘I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ due to health reasons.

“She was a fantastic campmate who excelled in tests and got along well with her fellow celebrity students.”

Jamie’s campmates have been informed that she has left the jungle and will not be returning – her final appearance will air in tonight’s episode (29.11.23).

The “Zoey 101” actress – the younger sister of pop star Britney Spears – burst into tears in last night’s episode when the camp managed to win a bar of chocolate to share, then retreated to sob.

After fellow campers Tony Bellew and Danielle Harold checked on her, Jamie – mother of daughters Maddie, 15, and Ivey, 5 – said, “I probably should have just let someone else eat it. Maybe I’m feeling a little better now. I just had to cry.”

Speaking to the Bush Telegraph, former boxer Tony said: “She’s just frustrated, she misses her children.”

“She’s so far away from home. It’s good to just go and ask someone how they’re doing. Just look after each other. Everyone should have that attitude towards each other.”
