According to Olympics.com, he said the theme of the closing ceremony would be “Records.”

After the flag handover in Los Angeles, other native Californians took the stage.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers and Billie Eilish kicked things off, delivering two consecutive performances on beach stages in front of hundreds of spectators.

Next, rapper Snoop Dogg, who had spent the past few weeks in Paris participating in NBC’s coverage of the games, took the microphone in a red, white and blue Olympic-themed suit. He also mentioned Dr. Dre.
