Bathing in a turquoise moonlight sounds great, right? Unless you’re accompanied by stinging insects. Or you don’t like fireworks. Or you get attacked by monsters. And you know what? Let’s just enjoy the general vibe of the next update coming your way. Wuthering Waves and not thinking about the real-world implications of being in the turquoise moonlight, which is the patch’s full name.

This next update to the multiplayer RPG includes two new characters, ink artist Zhezhi and badass scientist Xiangli Yao, as well as their new weapons, a Moon Chasing Festival event that introduces a new simulation game mode, new quests, and additional events that reward returning players who log in or participate in a new defense mode.

In addition to the playable content, the update brings several quality of life features, such as the ability to customize enemy targeting, the ability to store excess wave plates, a long-range hoverdroid companion, more guide points available by completing a daily quest, and more. The new patch also allows players to earn free Xiangli Yao by participating in the Converging Paths quest.
