That wasn’t on the 2024 bingo card. The unexpected king of the Olympics, Snoop Dogg, ended his epic adventures in Paris 2024 by teaming up with the Prince and Princess of Wales.

The rapper joined the future King and Queen in a video tribute to the British team that was shared at the end of the Olympic Games.

Snoop Dogg has enjoyed every moment of the Games, attending both as a spectator and as a special NBC Olympic correspondent, and he has become a mainstay of Paris 2024, attending a variety of events and bringing plenty of Olympic-style action with a wardrobe that has exceeded all expectations.

On the final day of Paris 2024, he was seen in a red, white and blue jacket and silk scarf as he marked the start of a series of congratulatory messages to the British athletes who took part in the world’s greatest sporting spectacle.

And while Snoop Dogg opened the event with “Greetings, my lovelies,” it was actually the Prince and Princess of Wales who began by honoring a team that has won a number of medals over the past two weeks, including 14 gold medals.

The Princess spoke proudly for the viewers who have followed every moment of Paris 2024, saying: “All of us watching at home congratulate the British team.” The Prince of Wales added: “Congratulations on everything you have achieved. You have been an inspiration to us all.”

It is Catherine’s first appearance since early July and only her third since she announced earlier this year that she was undergoing preventative chemotherapy.

The Princess of Wales paired the Snoop Dogg tuxedo with one of her most casual favorites, one of her Breton tops. However, it was her husband who threatened to overshadow the undisputed star of Paris with his own style. William sported a beard for the first time in years.

Warm words followed from David Beckham, Michael Johnson and Rebecca Adlington, among others, before Snoop Dogg gave us the finale that the Olympics needed.

His suit still shone and his last words were: “Thank you, Great Britain, on behalf of the great Snoop Dogg, the Prince and his lovely wife.”
