Live updates from day 12 of Detroit Lions training camp

Live updates from day 12 of Detroit Lions training camp

The Detroit Lions are back in their usual four walls. Training camp starts again on Sunday afternoon for day 12.

It was a tough, physical week in New Jersey, with two joint practices and the season opener. The Lions were fined $200,000 for brawling in practice. Several players were injured both in practice and in the game. And, to be honest, the game itself wasn’t very pretty.

But let’s hope the return home is also a return to form. Detroit has a full week to get back into shape at Allen Park before heading to Kansas City for its second preseason game.

The team’s first afternoon practice will take place on Sunday. Everything is expected to begin around 1:15 p.m. ET. Before that, there will be a press conference from Dan Campbell, tentatively scheduled for 12:45 p.m. ET.

It’s another practice in front of live fans, which means the media will be allowed to live tweet the practice, meaning if you’re not one of the lucky few thousand who will be there on Sunday afternoon, you’ll be able to follow live updates via social media.
