JO POTTER has named her Rangers squad for this afternoon’s ScottishPower Women’s Premier League match against Aberdeen at the Balmoral Stadium.

It is the start of the season for the Light Blues and they will be aiming for a perfect start to the season with their match against the Dons in the north-east.

Between the posts is Victoria Esson, who has joined the team after competing for New Zealand at the Olympics this summer. Leah Eddie makes her first competitive start for the club and is joined by Kathy Hill and captain Nicola Docherty.

Mia McAulay and Lizzie Arnot are in the starting line-up, with Chelsea Cornet and Liv McLoughlin also in action.

New signing Katie Wilkinson will also make her first appearance in the team, joining Rio Hardy and Kirsty Howat in the lineup.

On the substitutes bench for Rangers this afternoon are Jenna Fife, Laura Rafferty, Tessel Middag, Eilidh Austin, Laura Berry and Sophie Black.
