Trey Lance will face enormous pressure in the first preseason game against the Cowboys

It is an exciting day for fans of the Dallas Cowboys, as the team faces the Los Angeles Rams in the first preseason game of the season.

While many are excited to see how the rookies will fare in their first NFL appearance, backup quarterback Trey Lance will also be attracting a lot of attention.

Lance, who was once one of the top three picks in the NFL Draft, wants to breathe new life into his career.

A hot start to the preseason could do just that.

One could argue that Lance never had a fair chance to be the best during his time with the San Francisco 49ers. A multitude of injuries cost the North Dakota State legend any chance to learn the game at the NFL level.

However, one could also argue that even with injuries, talent would always prevail and that if he was talented enough, he would still be with the 49ers.

Lance still has a lot to prove and a lot of work to do to prove the doubters wrong, but it’s best for him if he can learn there and not be thrown out there right away.

Now it’s up to Lance to show how he has developed as a quarterback.
