Tom Felton from “Harry Potter” lands his next film role

“Harry Potter” star Tom Felton has landed his next film role in the new horror thriller “They Will Kill You.”

The film is about a woman who answers an ad for a job as a housekeeper in a mysterious New York high-rise, and ends up in a community with a history of disappearances and that may be in the grip of a satanic cult.

“They Will Kill You” stars Zazie Beetz (Joker) in the lead role, while Patricia Arquette (Severance) plays the head of the cooperative and Felton plays a member of the cult.

The film is directed by Kirill Sokolov of “No Looking Back”, who co-wrote the screenplay with Alex Litvak of “Predators”. Andy and Barbara Muschietti are on board as producers.

Felton is perhaps best known for his role as Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter films, and has more recently appeared in the West End in films such as The Flash, Ophelia and 2:22 A Ghost Story.

Earlier this year, he reunited with his on-screen father Jason Isaacs at London’s Savoy Hotel. The star shared a picture of the duo and wrote: “Father & son x.”

Meanwhile, in 2022, Felton joked Digital Spy that he would appear with co-star Daniel Radcliffe, on the condition that they could swap roles.

“We all talk about doing something again in very different ways,” he said. “Daniel and I have often joked that when we work together again, he will be the villain and I will be the hero.”

However, he added that there are no plans to collaborate with the star.

The cast of the films reunited in early 2022 for the Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: ​​Return to Hogwarts special, including Felton, Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint.

There is no confirmed release date for “They Will Kill You” yet.
