She was recently nominated as a Disney Legend and this weekend she’ll be on the West Coast rubbing shoulders with the rich and famous.
While Kelly Ripa enjoys being in the spotlight, other people are supporting Alec Baldwin. One of them, Eric Braeden of Shadow of Passion seemed particularly supportive. In his opinion, it is ridiculous that someone who is acting should be charged with a death by a sharp weapon. However, not everyone is shouting at him.
Can the talk show host stand up for Alec?
Weekly closer reported this week that a source mentioned Live with Kelly and Mark Moderator. Apparently, the actor, who likes Mark and his wife, is hoping for her public support. In fact, a few words from her could reach the ears of hundreds of influencers.
The outlet reported that the source said:
The man simply has no filters and that is why his friendship with Kelly Ripa is so important to him. She is incredibly popular with her audience and prides herself on calling things by their name and not sugarcoating anything.

Plus, the ABC host will invite him on her show if he needs it. However, given the dark shadows hanging over Alec Baldwin, that might not be enough to sway many opinions. Still, it certainly wouldn’t hurt if she started to publicly advocate for him.
