Kelly Osbourne recently appeared on an episode of “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?” and wasn’t afraid to joke about her weight loss.

Kelly was a candidate in the new celebrity couple format of the Millionaire show and appeared there together with her famous brother Jack Osbourne.

The episode also featured friends Dave “Lil Dicky” Burd and Davionte “Gata” Ganter, who appear in the series Dave.

In the new version of Millionaire with Jimmy Kimmel, celebrity couples try to move up the scoreboard to win money – up to $1 million at the top.

However, they do not take the money for themselves, but play for charities of their choice.

When Kelly and Jack got to one of their questions, it conveniently played into Kelly’s hands to joke about her physical transformation after headlines about Ozempic.

On Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?, Jack and Kelly quickly moved up the leaderboard until the $8,000 question.

“The drug minoxidil was approved in the 1970s to treat high blood pressure and was approved for another purpose after many patients taking it experienced what side effects?” Jimmy asked her.

The four responses were “Increased libido, significant weight loss, improved sleep quality, and excessive hair growth.”

After hearing the question, they weren’t quite sure which of the four options was the correct answer, although they both said they thought it was “A.”

However, the brother and sister opted for a 50/50 lifeline. This resulted in “significant weight loss” and “excessive hair growth.”

“Ohhh, I’m so glad we did that,” Kelly said as her answer choice was removed.

“It’s definitely not about weight loss, because that’s what I’ve heard,” Kelly told her brother as some in the audience laughed.

“I’m telling you, Jack, if it was weight loss, I would know,” she repeated a moment later.

Still unsure, they used their “Ask the Audience Lifeline,” and 64 percent of the audience chose “Excessive Hair Growth.”

They followed the majority vote and chose “D” as their final answer, which was correct.

The celebrity duo ended up receiving $32,000 for their charity after failing to answer the $64,000 question correctly.

Kelly recently denied using Ozempic for weight loss

Kelly’s joke on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire comes on the heels of an impressive transformation of her body. She previously revealed she had lost 85 pounds, and her svelte appearance on Millionaire was further proof of that weight loss.

However, speculation about how they did it often arises when celebrities lose weight and seriously change their appearance. According to People, Kelly addressed rumors circulating that she used Ozempic for her transformation.

“I know everyone thinks I took Ozempic. I didn’t take Ozempic. I don’t know where that came from. My mother took Ozempic,” she said, referring to her famous mother, Sharon Osborne.

She shared that she needs to lose weight because she is at high risk of developing diabetes after the birth of her and her partner, Slipknot member Sid Wilson’s, daughter Sidney in 2022.

“I had gestational diabetes and needed to lose the weight I gained during pregnancy or I would have been at higher risk of diabetes, which I didn’t want. I cut out sugar and carbs and lost weight quickly,” she said.

In January, she told People magazine that she lost all the weight thanks to diet and exercise.

The millionaire’s question about helpful side effects is ironic because Ozempic was originally launched as a drug for type 2 diabetes to control blood sugar levels. However, it was later discovered that it also helps with weight loss, which led many people, including celebrities, to use it for this purpose.

“Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?” airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on ABC.
