Mets do not lose in second game in a row, 0-4 against Mariners

The Mets kept a clean sheet for the second consecutive game in Seattle, scoring just four goals in a 4-0 loss to the Mariners. It’s the first time this season that NY has kept a clean sheet in back-to-back games.

New York (61-56) started the day with a 0.5-game lead over Atlanta to secure the final Wild Card spot, but the Braves ended their six-game losing streak and are now 0.5 games ahead of the Mets.

Here are the findings…

– Seattle ended the first with a nice double play and carried that momentum into the second half of the inning.
