Jill Scott was “too busy” to plan her wedding.

The 36-year-old former England captain has been a regular sports pundit and TV personality since winning ITV’s I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! in 2022. Her schedule has become so busy that she hasn’t had time to plan her upcoming wedding to Shelly Unitt, but she hopes that when the big day comes, it will just be a day of celebration abroad with family and friends.

She told Hello Magazine: “Everything has been so hectic, especially since the jungle. After the summer we’ll have some time to ourselves and then hopefully we can plan. I think it will just be family and friends, maybe we’ll go abroad and then come home and have a huge party.”

Away from TV, the Sunderland-born Lioness runs Boxx2Boxx Coffee in Manchester with her partner and recently explained that she and Shelley are so busy with their separate ventures that they have barely seen each other and still haven’t set a date for their wedding.

When asked if she had set a date yet, she said: “No, we haven’t. I think it’s just because we’ve been so busy. After the summer, we’ll have some time together and hopefully we can make some plans.”

“Especially since the jungle, we’re honestly like ships passing each other because Shelly also has the cafe. But hopefully after this summer we’ll be able to improve the work-life balance. I’ve only been able to go (to the Sop) every couple of weeks because I’ve been so busy, but once the summer is over (I’ll go more often).”

“I think we’ll have a lot of customers supporting the World Cup. People love coming in and getting a signed picture from the girls. I’ll be getting a few pictures signed by the girls. After the World Cup, I’ll definitely sign up for a few shifts!”
