Primary Election Day: Polls close at 7 p.m.: Kauai Now

It’s primaries day!

Several ballot boxes are located throughout the island and are available 24 hours a day. The polls close at 7 p.m.

Ballots must be received by the Kaua’i County Board of Elections by 7 p.m. They can be dropped off in person at a drop-off location or at the Voter Service Center in the Historic County Annex Building at 4386 Rice Street in Līhu’e.

Mailboxes will be accessible 24 hours a day until 7 p.m. on primary day (Saturday, August 10, 2024). Mail-in ballots must be received and unpostmarked by 7 p.m. on August 10 at the latest.
