Devin Booker is one of the most talented shooting guards in the NBA.

The Phoenix Suns superstar played for Team USA at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris this summer.

With legendary players like Kevin Durant, Steph Curry and LeBron James on the roster, Booker had to play a role (and not just be the star player).

He was the player the US team needed and played a key role in the team winning the tournament 6-0 (and won the gold medal over France on Saturday).

Booker finished the last game with 15 points, six rebounds and three assists while shooting 6/9 from the field and 2/4 from three-point range in 28 minutes of play.

After the victory, Steve Kerr, head coach of the US team, praised the former Kentucky star highly.

Golden State Warriors superstar Steph Curry posted the quote on his Instagram story and responded with a message for Booker.

Curry wrote: Damn right!!! @dbuch“

Booker is coming off a year in which he averaged 27.1 points, 4.5 rebounds and 6.9 assists per game in 68 games, while making 49.2% of his shots from the field and 36.4% of his three-point shots.

The four-time NBA All-Star has now won two gold medals.
