’90 Day Fiance’s’ Michael Ilesanmi launches GoFundMe to fight his wife in court | News

“90 Day Fiancé” star Michael Ilesanmi is asking the public for financial help as he is involved in a legal battle with his estranged wife, Angela Deem.

On Tuesday (13 August) Ilesanmi launched a GoFundMeraising over $11,000 of the $25,000 he requested. “Hi, I’m Michael Ilesanmi from the TLC TV show ’90 Day Fiancé.’ I have found myself in a situation where I unfortunately need to ask for help,” he said in a statement on the website. “Due to the recent lawsuits filed against me by Angela, I need to seek legal advice. I have retained an attorney, but the costs are high. I have a legal battle to fight and this battle will be expensive. I am asking all of my fans for help – whatever you can give, I would be deeply grateful. I understand we are all going through tough times and I hate to ask others for financial support, but due to the lawsuits filed against me, I feel I need to ask. Thank you all and God bless.”

Accordingly ReportsIn June, Deem filed for an annulment, claiming that her 36-year-old Nigerian husband allegedly “fraudulently enticed her into marrying him in order to obtain legal permanent residency in the United States.” In court documents, she accused Ilesanmi of “engaging with other Nigerian men in a conspiracy to entice U.S. citizens into marrying him in order to obtain legal permanent residency.”

However, in a recent episode of “90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?”, a private investigator hired by Deem to investigate the case admitted that he found no evidence that Ilesanmi cheated or defrauded Deem or that his motives for getting married were unethical.
